HIATUS [hahy-ey-tuhs]
–noun, plural -tus·es, -tus.

a break or interruption in the continuity of a work, series, action, etc.

Everybody seems to love this word, I can see it being plastered on the main page of many blogs. It'd be staring right into my face, and when I read on, I would find that the user still updates frequently.

So is that only a fashion statement?

Sorry bout my colour, it's random :)

It feels wanting, when I don't see you, almost to the extent of lamentation.

My temporarily vacuous life pines for your presence, and your tender touch.

Fear not my dear, for the desires are only latent, but I hope that it does not mature like the werewolf during full moon.

Hope this colour looks fine to you.

Composing A capellas are fun, and I am happy with my primer-joke-teasing-composed-by-me one titled "To whomever it may concern", also which I have rehearsed many times with Nicole. lol. By the way I've written it for 2 singers, fun huh.

I should do more of this, maybe try SATB next time. XD

Ebony And Ivory

Written By Sir Paul McCartney
Performed by Sir Paul McCartney & Stevie Wonder

Ebony and Ivory
Live together in perfect harmony
Side by side on my piano keyboard
Oh Lord, why don't we ?

We all know that people are the same
wherever you go
There's good and bad in everyone
We learn to live, we learn to give each other
What we need to survive
Together alive

Ebony and Ivory
Live together in perfect harmony
Side by side on my piano keyboard
Oh Lord, why don't we ?

Ebony, Ivory, living in perfect harmony
Ebony, Ivory, ooh

We all know that people are the same
wherever you go
There's good and bad in everyone
We learn to live, we learn to give each other
What we need to survive
Together alive

Ebony and Ivory
Live together in perfect harmony
Side by side on my piano keyboard
Oh Lord, why don't we ?

Side by side on my piano keyboard
Oh Lord, why don't we ?

Ebony, Ivory, living in perfect harmony
Ebony, Ivory, living in perfect harmony
Ebony, Ivory, living in perfect harmony...

Haha, I think this is quite random, because I was thinking of the piano, which was made with ebony and ivory in the past.(wow what a luxury it is to be playing on ivory, must have killed many elephants because of that)

This is racial harmony okay, as you can see from the singers who correspond to the title of the song, if you get what I mean.

Ah my blog is rotting.

When we journey through the dimension of time,

Is it me that you remember?

Is it me that fades from your memories?

You will tell me.

But I cannot promise,

That I will remember you,

Or retain you in my hippocampus,

When I cruise through the passage of time.

Your view on yourself:

Other people find you very interesting, but you are really hiding your true self. Your friends love you because you are a good listener. They'll probably still love you if you learn to be yourself with them.

The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for:

You like serious, smart and determined people. You don't judge a book by its cover, so good-looking people aren't necessarily your style. This makes you an attractive person in many people's eyes.

Your readiness to commit to a relationship:

You prefer to get to know a person very well before deciding whether you will commit to the relationship.

The seriousness of your love:

Your have very sensible tactics when approaching the opposite sex. In many ways people find your straightforwardness attractive, so you will find yourself with plenty of dates.

Your views on education

Education is very important in life. You want to study hard and learn as much as you can.

The right job for you:

You're a practical person and will choose a secure job with a steady income. Knowing what you like to do is important. Find a regular job doing just that and you'll be set for life.

How do you view success:

You are afraid of failure and scared to have a go at the career you would like to have in case you don't succeed. Don't give up when you haven't yet even started! Be courageous.

What are you most afraid of:

You are afraid of things that you cannot control. Sometimes you show your anger to cover up how you feel.

Who is your true self:

You are full of energy and confidence. You are unpredictable, with moods changing as quickly as an ocean. You might occasionally be calm and still, but never for long.

Yay 2nd post in one day! Taken from http://www.quizbox.com/personality/test82.aspx
I haven't blogged in a long time. No time, or rather an excuse for not having substantial content or experiences in my routine. My life is indeed nothing but a routine. But currently I am experiencing something rather extraordinary, if you know what I am referring to, come ask me if you want to know more.

The world is being run in the wrong way.

Many shouldn't be around.

The world is being run in the wrong way.

Mother nature will amend it.

The world is being run in the wrong way.

We should change it first.

The world is being run in the wrong way.

Can we fix it?

The world is being run in the wrong way.

Are you ready for revolution?

The world is being run in the wrong way.

Let's remove the unwanted.

The world is being run in the wrong way.

We shall heal.

Lightbulb Joke

Haha I got this from Belle's blog.

Q: How many Raffles JC students does it take to change a light bulb?
A: 4 whole faculties. One to design the new bulb, one to manufacture and test it out, one to write a proposal on it and one to market it.

Q: How many Hwa Chong JC students does it take to change a light bulb?
A: The whole school. To compete with RJC.

Q: How many Victoria JC students does it take to change a light bulb?
A: The whole school. One student to screw it in and the rest to cheer and wave flags and banners to give him/her support.

Q: How many National JC students does it take to change a light bulb?
A: None. They can study without light.

Q: How many Anderson JC students does it take to change a light bulb?
A: They’re too busy trying to be one of the top 5 JCs.

Q: How many Anglo-Chinese JC students does it take to change a light bulb?
A: None. They’ll rather use all their money to employ YJC to do it for them.

Q: How many Yishun JC students does it take to change a light bulb?
A: None. Only one teacher to tell them what a light bulb is in the first place and to demonstrate how to change the light bulb. (so how do you think they’re able to change it for ACJC?)

Q: How many Catholic JC students does it take to change a light bulb?
A: They’ll prefer it to be darker.

Q: How many Jurong JC students does it take to change a light bulb?
A: None. Their physics is so bad that they made their macho male physics teacher cry.

Q: How many Tampines JC students does it take to change a light bulb?
A: None. Would they even bother?

Q: How many SaintAndrew JC students does it take to change a light bulb?
A: None. They believe in praying for it.

Q: How many Nanyang JC students does it take to change a light bulb?
A: None. They are still using oil lamps.

Q: How many Serangoon JC students does it take to change a light bulb?
A: Huh, what litebarb?

Q: How many Pioneer JC students does it take to change a light bulb?
A: Heck the light bulb lah, the principal would do something about the rightbarbs. Let’s do 300 jumping jacks for not wearing the proper school attire.

Q: How many Meridian JC students does it take to change a light bulb?
A: None. They are too busy trying to get promoted.

Q: How many Innova JC students does it take to change a light bulb?
A: None. They are Innovians. They’ll find ways out of the dark.

Q: How many DHS (Senior High) students does it take to change a light bulb?
A: None. They think they are already very bright.

And I've just finished The Shadow of the Wind. An extraordinary story I can promise you, maybe I'll write a review soon.

I miss you,

I miss the feeling of you,

when can I talk to you?

hmm you?

Wednesday, July 18, 2007

Yes finally my diploma is over. Yet another important agenda ticked off. It all happened like a flash, I can't seem to recall the actual situation already. All I knew was, my fingers were stiff like wood by the time I came out of the freezing room. Thank you all for your concern, I do appreciate them very much.

If you are wondering whether I did well, hmm actually I am also wondering, I am not sure too. Mixed feelings of mine, varied expressions of the examiners, and a full page of scribbling on my marksheet.

I DON'T HAVE THE SLIGHTEST INKLING.

But I'd be happy enough if I were to pass, yes just a "pass", not a clear pass, not a high pass, not a distinction, just a pass and I will be over the moon, sun, or any other thing that you can think of.

Hope, hope, and only hope. It is two months before the quantum possibilities of my diploma result collaspes into one. It's like "Don't tell me the results of the soccer match, I'll watch it myself", the same logic it is.

I thought that I'd be much more relieved after this exam. But my current emotional state doesn't endorse the prediction. Well well, the important thing is, I'm watching harry potter with my dear dear dear tomorrow afternoon, and that is definitely something to look forward to right?

P.S If you wanna know the viva voce questions, approach me in private. thank you.

You Are 5: The Investigator

You're independent - and a logical analytical thinker.

You love learning and ideas... and know things no one else does.

Bored by small talk, you refuse to participate in boring conversations.

You are open minded. A visionary. You understand the world and may change it.

At Your Best: You are sharp, inventive, and creative. You have the skills to lead the world.

At Your Worst: You are reclusive, weird, and a bit paranoid.

Your Fixation: Greed

Your Primary Fear: Being useless or incompetent

Your Primary Desire: Being competent and needed

Other Number 5's: Bill Gates, John Lennon, Kurt Cobain, Bjork, and Stephen Hawking.

What Number Are You?

yeah my 100th post. Oh yes Stephen Hawking, so I'm a bit like him

I won't be blogging,

at least until my diploma is over.

Period.

And maybe I should stop this habit of mentally labeling people with this discriminating tag coined "degenerates".

Or maybe I should continue.

You Are Emerald Green

Deep and mysterious, it often seems like no one truly gets you.

Inside, you are very emotional and moody - though you don't let it show.

People usually have a strong reaction to you... profound love or deep hate.

But you can even get those who hate you to come around. There's something naturally harmonious about you.

Down in I2R

Hey guys, I'm kinda stuck here in my tiny little workspace in I2R(its I squared R).

One guy per desktop. Scouring for codes of resource allocation simulation. Bad Bad.
Three people working together, looking for methods of resource allocation. Laggi best.

Look to the right, see a long scroll bar, with the tiny blue rectangle stuck to the top.

The tinier the rectangle, the longer the page, the more I have to read.

LOL, this isn't really the time to blog now.
