In order to assure the highest levels of quality work and productivity from students, it will be our policy to keep all students well taught through our program of SPECIAL HIGH INTENSITY TEACHING ( S.H.I.T.).

We are trying to give our students more S.H.I.T. than anyone else. If you feel that you do not receive your share of S.H.I.T. on the course, please see your lecturer. You will be immediately placed at the top of the S.H.I.T. list, and our lecturers are especially skilled at seeing that you get all the S.H.I.T. you can handle. Students who don't take their S.H.I.T ... will be placed in DEPARTMENTAL EDUCATIONAL EVALUATION PROGRAMS ( D.E.E.P. S.H.I.T.).

Those who fail to take D.E.E.P. S.H.I.T. seriously will have to go to EDUCATIONAL ATTITUDE TRAINING (E.A.T. S.H.I.T.). Since our lecturers took S.H.I.T. before they graduated, they don't have to do S.H.I.T. anymore, and are all full of S.H.I.T. already.

If you are full of S.H.I.T., you may be interested in a job teaching others. We can add your name to our BASIC UNDERSTANDING LECTURE LIST ( B.U.L.L. S.H.I.T.).

Working in the holidays

Well, yesterday was my last day of work with thinksmart learning partners Pte Ltd www.thinksmart.com.sg. I got to know them by a workshop held by them in my school during the 7th 8th and 9th of November.

I simply love their way of teaching science or DoE(design of experiments). If chung cheng could change their idea SLIGHTLY. XD. But I doubt they can.

I was lucky, definitely, for I had a chance to work with them, instead of doing macdonalds, flyers or slacking around.

I've worked with them for one and a half months already, completed 3 and a half projects, it has indeed been a crazy and enriching experience working with them. haha, a bunch of mad scientists, but fun though. I've learnt many many things, valuable information, and knew some other people.

More importantly, as a comparison,
I could see how illogical some things are.
I could see how screwed up chung cheng is.
I could see how serious my mistake was.
I could see how much the education system needs a change.
As Yalin says, we are only taught to answer questions in school. Totally agree.

I hope that I can work with them in the future and always keep in contact.

Hi guys, I am back from my trip to Malaysia. It was a 4 day trip, I didn't quite like it.

I didn't know how screwed up the country was until this trip, although I had some trips into that country before. It's not good to talk too much about this.

Hi Folks,

went to watch casino royale with my parents today! The movie not bad lah, just that Daniel Criag isn't as nice as Pierce Brosnan. I must say that Ian Fleming(the author of the James Bond series) is indeed a brilliant, if not a genius, writer. There is always a moral to a story, desirable to learn or not, and the moral that I've learned is to never trust anybody fully, you can't tell a book by its cover.

Okay, it has been a few days since I'm back from my camp, and my knee still pricks every time I climb the stairs. Damn it, but I still don't know why.

I'll change my blog skin soon, hopefully.

Yesterday, my sister brought me a copy of PCPS's 2006 school magazine. As I slowly flipped through the pages, memories all the way from primary 1 flashed across my mind, letting me experience the feeling once again. I could still remember how Mr Simon Goh offered me 50cents for another plate of fried rice when a guy accidentally knocked me down when I was in primary 1. I could still remember my first and amiable form teacher- Mrs Agnes Chen-, her voice, her face. I could still remember the "good" times with Mr Yip when I was in primary 2&4 and also Ms Amy Tan. Also the industrious and best EMS teacher I could ever have, Ms Teo and also Mr Tang, the best chinese teacher. I could also remember the friends, who may have forgotten me by now. And many many many many more teachers.

But all is gone, and never to return.

I can never have Jasmine snatching my stuff anymore, or to play catching as a whole class again, or listen to any of the teachers teaching in front of us, or even to see a classmate again. We are now the alumni of pcps, not students. It's a cold hard fact, to me.
